Freeride X-Sport
Freeride X-Sport is the newest board in Radinn’s selection! Its ultra-resistant hull technology—which originates from windsurf boards and extreme-kayak production—can handle rough conditions thanks to a fiberglass reinforcement and ASA polymer outskin. Like its forebearer the Freeride, the X-Sport maintains an innovative, hydrodynamic design and is easy to get started on but also responsive enough for more playful riding.
Explore surfboards
Explore lineup is ideal as a first board or for the whole family. Almost all of the boards upper side is covered in soft foam-like material, which gives feet good traction and also soften any falls when fun mishaps happen while riding. The whole board has a built-in bumper for any branches, rocks or other obstacles in the water. Overall thanks to the military-grade plastics and bumper the board is very durable, able to shrug off basically anything that might happen when you are just starting out and getting the feeling of the board.
Freeride surfboards
Freeride lineup is quite similar to the aforementioned Explore board, but it has a bit more of a “sporty” touch. The overall dimensions have been reduced slightly and also the board is has a clean build – no rubber bumper. All of these changes mean that the board is 3kg lighter than Explore! It definitely helps while carrying the board to water and also while tackling tight corners.
Carve surfboards
Carve board is something different entirely! You already now your Radinn boards or are just ready to tackle the challenges head on, because this beast is quite alot thinner and shorter than its brothers. Unlike Explore or Freeride it has straps for feet, basically giving it a more of a “wakeboardy” feel – you could probably take on same obstacles in a wakepark!
Overall it is also quite a bit easier to carry, because the board weights only 9kg.
How to start riding Radinn electric surfboards?
If you weigh under about 65kg, just try to balance yourself while standing on the board in water, feet positioned a little more than shoulder-width. Slowly start pressing the remote button and you’ll start moving. When braking, slowly lift off the throttle to come to a stop. If you release the throttle too fast, you may end up diving head-first into water – be careful. If you weigh more, the board will not be as stable. So you either jump on the board and start using throttle immediately or start on your belly or knees. Starting on your belly is actually quite safe and fun way to ride the board. Then move up to your knees while keeping constant pressure on throttle.
How to turn with Radinn board?
For beginners, you may want to try it a few times on your belly or on your knees. To turn left, you need to lean left with your whole body and force the board to tilt left. When standing, you may want to move the front leg a bit to the left of the board center line. To turn right, do the opposite. For sharper turns, slow down a bit and move your body weight towards the rear of the board. A fun way to make turns is to grab the left or right handle, lift the board and tilt your body towards to turn.
What is the approximate riding time?
For beginners who are just learning, one charge can last well over an hour – so you can even share this time with 3-4 friends. For experienced riders who mostly ride with full throttle and acceleration, it can be 30-40 mins. The board slows down slightly when battery starts to get empty.
Where could I ride my Radinn surfboard?
For beginners the best would be to ride on flat water without waves. This includes smaller lakes, quarries, rivers, closed bays. More experienced riders can be comfortable with riding smaller waves on the sea and even jumping on them.
How to take it out for a ride?
You can usually fit it into a regular car when the seats are lowered or a minivan. Just remember to keep the board in its bag when in transport. When transporting the board, you may want to separate the battery and have the board in one hand and battery in another. The bag has wheels, so you can easily trolley it on a flat pavement.
Radinn electric surfboards
Radinn is from Sweden and it has been creating waves since 2013. The name “Radinn” comes from phrase “Radical Innovation”, which is also the core value of the company.
Every Radinn Surfboard consists of three components – board, motor (“Jetpack”) and battery (“PowerPack”). Radinn’s design philosophy is modularity, which means that every combination of a board, motor and battery fits together and works ideally. That means if you for example start out on a Explore board and want to become a Pro with Carve board, you can use your existing Jetpack and PowerPack(s)!
The board we sell are already mature products, which means that any manufacturing kinks have been long worked out. The whole production takes place in Poland, which means the whole production line from design to after-sales takes place in Europe! That means everything is manufactured to the highest standards and everything from materials to battery utilization is designed to be environmentally friendly.
